Louisiana 2012 "We the People" State Competition

The state competition was held at the Crowne Plaza Hotel on Friday, January 27, 2012.  Four teams, Central Private School, Glenbrook School, Haynes Academy for Advanced Studies, and John Ehret High School, competed for the opportunity to represent Louisiana in the We the People National Competition that will be held on April 27- May 1, 2012. Haynes Academy’s team, led by Chris Totaro, emerged as the victor. Alicia Fergerson from Central Private, Matthew Edwards from Glenbrook, and George Allan from John Ehret are to be commended on the outstanding performances of their teams.
 
 
Notable guests and participants on hand for the event were Louisiana House Representative Pat Smith,  Haynes Academy School Teacher Jamie Staub, Glenbrook School Assistant Headmaster for Curriculum Naomi Coyle, and John Ehret Principal Maria Landry.
