President's Award
Outstanding Civics Teacher

Established by the President of the Louisiana State Bar Association in partnership with the Louisiana Center for Law and Civic Education, this award is given annually to one or more Louisiana teachers in recognition of their law related education work. Recipients of this prestigious award will be recognized at a reception in early 2012 during the Louisiana State Bar Association's annual Midyear Meeting at the Marriott Convention Center in New Orleans.
All educators deserving of recognition are encouraged to apply for this award today. Application deadline is December 5, 2012. For application details visit
