This award, established by the President of the Louisiana State Bar Association in partnership with the Louisiana Center for Law and Civic Education, is given annually to one or more Louisiana teachers in recognition of their law related education work.
Recipients of this prestigious award will be recognized at a reception in early 2011 during the Louisiana State Bar Association's annual Midyear Meeting at the Marriott Convention Center in New Orleans.

Register now for the annual Louisiana Council for the Social Studies Conference. The LCLCE will offer We the People workshops at the elementary, middle and high school levels on Friday, October 22nd.

Seventy (70) schools across the state were visited by members of the Louisiana legal community on Constitution Day.
The LCLCE is currently accepting applications for schools, lawyers and
judges interested in participating in the Lawyers in the Classroom/Judges
in the Classroom programs. If interested in participating, enroll by faxing
